By Emmie Cromwell - The 2015 United Nations document, Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development portrays Utopia as determined by Globalists. It is a long-winded bore that is full of unrealistic plans for achieving societal perfection.
Unfortunately, considering this report was published by the UN, the espousal of ideology that holds striking similarities to totalitarianism is troubling. Even more stomach-churning is the fact that the behaviors of many Globalist leaders, governments, and organizations, suggest that this manifesto has been set into motion and is gaining speed.
History proves that there will always be people who enjoy the virtuous possibilities of a world that values society above the individual; forgetting, lacking knowledge, or simply not caring about the historical evidence providing a high likelihood of death and destruction following such implementations.
But, the rest of us would probably have a question or two. Who decides what’s best for society? How do they create a world that is equally amenable to eight billion people? What happens to those who disagree?
Historically, the characteristics of a movement’s perfect society would be determined by their leader(s). Considering the fact that totalitarian leaders often mimic the behavior of demonic supervillains, their vision will probably start off sounding lovely, but morph into something sinister, self-serving, and undebatable. Additionally, eight billion people will never agree, thus it’s reasonable to assume that a good portion of the population will be met with hostility. The repercussions of dissent will likely be harsh.
When did it become the responsibility of the United Nations to change the world? And, considering the plethora of historical examples presenting unfavorable consequences, how did they determine that totalitarianism on a global scale is the best option?
Could it have something to do with those who so generously fill their pockets; Globalists like Bill Gates, George Soros, and others? I wonder which one gets to be the head supervillain?
Considering the staggering, unmatched wealth of provisions awarded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to various agencies of the United Nations, I assume that Bill would get first dibs. I’ve already compared him to Lex Luther, Dr. Doom, and the Evil Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget.
The final and most important question is, will we be happy living in the Globalist society laid out by the United Nations?
Considering the fact that local efforts to create a Globalist’s perceived Utopia have resulted in nearly uninhabitable cities like San Fransisco, I imagine a worldwide Utopia will mirror that devastation.
Great article....it is interesting how utopia changes through time. When I was younger leftist wanted a there fearie tale democratic socialist star trek style society. But because of all these evil leftist CEOs and billionaires we are getting this dystopian 1984ish cyberpunk society.
